Vliegtickets geboekt en het dag-tot-dag - schema

Hallo iedereen,

De tijd tikt verder, sinds half mei zijn wij onze reis al aan het voorbereiden samen met de plaatselijke touroperator (lees: indiaan).
Vandaag hebben we de internationale vliegtickets definitief vastgelegd.
Alleen dit al is een missie op zichzelf. Vliegtickets die rechtstreeks door vakantieaanbieders worden ingekocht kunnen vaak voor een vaste prijs aangeboden worden. Echter verre bestemmingen of minder toeristische trekpleisters kunnen enkel mits varrierende prijzen gekocht worden.
En of deze prijzen schommelen...tot 5 maal per dag kan er een ander bedrag op je scherm verschijnen. Da-agen, zelfs weken probeerde ik deze evolutie te analyseren. Volgens sommigen het aantal 'raadplegingen', het aantal boekingen, het uur van de dag, de dag van de week, de periode van boeking. Mijn geschiedenis elke dag koortsachtig gewist, alsook de cookies, vanaf verschillende computers,...

Jaja, zal allemaal wel, maar ik zie er geen patroon in zenne...
Hetgeen wel vaak een feit is, hoe minder overstappen des te duurder de vlucht. Het is een beetje wikken en wegen want die overstappen zijn niet altijd even evident als je met een rolstoel reist.

Ervaring leerde ons dat KLM toegankelijkheid en vriendelijkheid wel hoog in het vaandel dragen. Het feit dat de crew hier ook Nederlandstalig is is alleen maar een pluspunt, toch?

Nog een zekerheid is dat je goedkoper vanuit Belgie vertrekt. Het reserveren vanuit B scheelt je ook 150 euro dan vanuit Nl.

Mezelf afvragen doe ik allang niet meer, we vliegen dus van B naar Nl, om vervolgens dezelfde vlucht richting Peru te nemen en we betalen 800 euro minder op ons vliegticket.

Het dagprogramma is ook bekend:

dag 1 : vlucht Zaventem-Peru 16,5u, arrive to Lima, dinner, checkinn, night out

dag 2 :"Markets and City tour in Lima. This tour takes approx. 4 hours total. Includes driving
around the city (big city) coming out at main attractions and discover the old town as well"
"Board walk and Modern Lima. This tour is more relax, you can go around board
walk for 30 minutes,enjoy coffee at sunset, just hang out at the cliff in front of the ocean"

dag 3 : Inland flight Flight Cusco (2 hour flight)
"Drive to Sacred Valley (1,5 hour drive). Hotel is located within a hill. Nice patio
and social area in the hotel. You will be in the hotel around 16h00." Dinner in Hotel

dag 4: "Fortress and market in Pisaq. Fortress in Pisaq takes approx. 2 hours to get around.
Starts around 9h00 am"
"Mara Salt Mines. The mines is a great opportunity to learn from native people
how they work and their way of living. IT takes approx. 2,5 hours to be with the natives and then return to hotel around 17h00 "

Dag 5 : "Ollantaytambo Fortress in Sacred Valley. To get to Ollantaytambo it takes approx. 15 minutes.
To go around the fortress it takes approx. 45 minutes, but there is always free time in there as well as many people around"
Community visit. We will spend at least 4 hours at the community.

dag 6: "Ollantaytambo-Aguas Calientes-Machu Picchu. Day starts early, with transfer
to the train (6h00 am). Train takes approx. 2 hours to get to Aguas Calientes. We will have breakfast at Aguas Calientes and then board the bus that takes approx. 25 minutes to Macchu Picchu. Ideally we will go inside Macchu Picchu around 11h00 am. We will be inside the city for approx 2 hours. Come out at lunch time for a snack."

We will leave Machu Picchu around 14h00 pm. Take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and be at Aguas Calientes around 16h00. We will be there until 17h00 or 18h00 to take the train back to Ollantaytambo and arrive around 20h00. Transfer back to hotel. Arrive to hotel around 20h30 or 21h00. Rest"

dag 7 : Drive back to Cusco. Around 2 hour drive.
"Cusco city tour. It takes approx. 3 hours to wonder around Cusco and its major
attractions. Some is done by car, some by walking"

dag 8 : "Sacsaywaman, Quero, Tambomachay.
These are all Inca ruins around Cusco. We get to the ruins in a car and get out to see each attraction. Driving approx. 30 minutes"

dag 9 : internal flight to Ecuador. Flight Cusco-Lima (2 hours)
Arrive to Quito (2 hour flight) checkinn hotel, dinner

dag 10 : "Middle World. This is approx 30 minutes drive from Quito. It takes approx.
2 hours to visit it"
City tour. It takes approx. 3 hours to go around downtown and main attractions

dag 11 : Drive to the Amazon (4 hour drive)
"Indigenous community. The village is approx 30 minutes drive from the lodge.
Visit starts around 15h00 and finishes around 17h30."

dag 12: Boat ride Napo river. Day starts at 9h00 am. The ride takes approx. 4 hour total
